π Introducing Bella’s Wildlife Heroes! π
Each month, we will be featuring an outstanding classroom of students who have gone above and beyond in the world of wildlife conservation. These students are true wildlife heroes, and we can’t wait to celebrate their inspiring work!
Selected classrooms will be featured with a photo and a short story about what they’ve done to make a difference for our native wildlife. By honoring these amazing young minds, we hope to inspire even more children to love and protect the animals we share our world with.
As the 2024–2025 school year comes to a close, we couldn’t choose just one class—so we’re starting this new tradition by recognizing two exceptional classrooms that stood out this year. These classes will be the very first to be officially named Bella’s Wildlife Heroes!
Each month going forward, a new classroom will be chosen and featured on our page. Bella, our educational ambassador barn owl, will visit the selected class in person to thank them for their conservation efforts. These students will receive:
β
A Bella’s Wildlife Heroes certificate
β
Exclusive Bella’s Wildlife Heroes stickers
β
A professional photo of Bella, taken by Walker Pet Studio
β
A special visit from Bella, our educational ambassador barn owl!

Let’s celebrate the next generation of conservationists—one classroom at a time! πΎπΏ

Congratulations to the Worcester JCC Turquoise Room Pre-K Classroom!
This incredible group of young learners spent time exploring and understanding the impact of human infringement on nature—from pesticides to pollution. They also learned about threatened bird populations, gaining awareness of how our actions affect the wildlife around us.
But they didn’t stop at learning—they went out into nature, observed wildlife firsthand, and demonstrated a true commitment to conservation. These students are not just curious minds—they are true conservationists in the making.
We are so proud to recognize the Worcester JCC Turquoise Room Pre-K classroom, taught by Katherine Coughlin, as one of Bella’s Wildlife Heroes!
Thank you for showing us what the next generation is capable of. Keep up the amazing work protecting our wild world!

Congratulations to the Kindergarten Class at Oliver Hazard Perry School!
We are thrilled to recognize this amazing group of students as official Bella’s Wildlife Heroes!
These young conservationists went above and beyond with their incredible knowledge of owls. When we visited them several months ago, they impressed us with thoughtful questions and a deep curiosity about these fascinating birds.
Their classroom was filled with displays of native wildlife species, and each student took time to learn about them. They read books about owls, learned how to identify different owl species, and showed a genuine passion for wildlife and nature.
This class didn’t just learn—they cared. And that’s what makes them true wildlife heroes.
We applaud the Kindergarten class at Oliver Hazard Perry School, taught by Catherine Flores, for their dedication to conservation. You are shining examples of what it means to love and protect the natural world. Keep up the amazing work!
